The index is an equal-weighted index, which means that, unlike the S&P 500® Index, which employs a float-adjusted market capitalization weighted methodology, the index assigns each component security the same weight at each quarterly rebalance. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the value of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in the components of the index and in derivatives and other investments that have economic characteristics similar to the components of the index.
